It seems that Mariah Carey is getting in the middle of Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma's nasty beef. Considering her epic feud with the "Anaconda" hitmaker in the 12th season of "American Idol", the 46-year-old diva is surely taking Remy's side as she allegedly plans to throw even more shade "real soon."

"Anything that Mariah [Carey] can do that would get under Nicki [Minaj]'s skin is something she will be interested in at all times," a so-called insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "This track with Remy [Ma] was very calculated even though Remy doesn't bash Nicki in the song."

The source continues, "Working with other artists that share her hate for Nicki is something that gets the creative juices flowing for Mariah," before adding that the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" songstress plans to throw more subtle shade at Nicki.

Mariah famously clashed with Nicki after the Young Money queen called the singer a "b***h" on the talent-searching show. But their feud came to a head after she allegedly threatened Mariah with a gun. At the time, an insider revealed that Nicki said, "If I had a gun, I would shoot her."

However, Nicki shouldn't be afraid of her nemesis since Drake has her back to the fullest. "Drake is Team Nicki all the way," an insider tells the webloid. "He thinks she's by far the superior artist when compared to Remy Ma and Mariah Carey. Drake will always have Nicki's back and keeps reminding her that jealousy is the greatest form of flattery."
