AceShowbiz - A new rumored candidate to play Cable in "Deadpool 2" is revealed. According to a scoop from TheWrap, "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour is eyed to play the villain in the upcoming sequel. Rumor has it, he has been screen-tested for the role.
Cable is the alter ego of Nathan Summers, son of "X-Men" mainstay Scott Summers or better known as Cyclops. The character travels to the present day from a possible future timeline. In the comic books, he is the ultimate nemesis of the Merc with a Mouth.
David Leitch serves behind the lens, replacing Tim Miller who helmed the first film. Ryan Reynolds is back as the titular motor-mouthed superhero. "Scandal" leading lady Kerry Washington is reportedly circling the role of Domino in the sequel due 2018.
