A new report offers details about Ray Fisher's character and its connection to the MacGuffins of the movie.

AceShowbiz - There has been a rumor swirling around about Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg and his connection to the three mother boxes in "Justice League", following the footage in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" which shows Dr. Silas Stone (Victor's father) trying to save his life using a mysterious device. Director Zack Snyder recently offered details about Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg's role and involvement in the movie plot to end the rumor and speculation once and for all.

In the March issue of Total Film, Snyder confirmed that Cyborg (Ray Fisher) was one of the three mother boxes. He further revealed that the aforementioned scene featuring Dr. Stone and Cyborg was the "first glimpse of the mother box." The director added that Cyborg "plays such a strong part coming up."

Mother boxes are immensely powerful devices that are originated from the planet Apokolips, which is ruled by Darkseid. The villain of the movie, Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds), is after them. The mother boxes, which are the MacGuffins of the movie, are scattered around the Earth. One is in the care of Amazons, one other is with the Atlanteans and the last one is with mankind.

The one with Cyborg is the third mother box, the one which is designated for the humans. Cyborg's severely mutilated body is reassembled by his father, Dr. Silas Stone, who resorts to using the mysterious device called "U.S. Gov Object 6-19-82" inside S.T.A.R. Labs. It appears that the glowing tube shown in the scene is the mother box.

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, while Ben Affleck will once again play Batman. Also starring Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Amber Heard and J.K. Simmons, the movie is produced by Dan Lin and Doug Mitchell. Chris Terrio pens the script alongside David S. Goyer. "Justice League" is slated for a November 17 release in the U.S.
