Jennifer Lopez has responded to Nicki Minaj's rant on social media in which the rapper seemingly threw shade at her. Following Nicki's accusation that Giuseppe Zanotti is being racist and is only willing to team up with entertainers like J.Lo and Zayn Malik, the "Luh Ya Papi" singer thinks that Nicki is "petty" to start a beef with the famed shoe designer.

A source close to the situation tells HollywoodLife.com, "Jennifer's out here minding her business and doesn't have time to be petty with these girls who maybe taking jabs at her." According to the source, the 47-year-old is "a proven diva and her body of work speaks for itself which is why producers, writers and designers want to work with her too."

"J.Lo's got love for all the girls out here but one thing she won't do is fight and be all catty," the insider continues, before adding that the "On the Floor" hitmaker will "leave that to the two chicks who virtually pulled each other's hair out everyday when they judged 'American Idol'. Those girls are better off fighting themselves then trying to come for her."

As previously reported, Nicki blasted Giuseppe for allegedly refusing to take her calls despite naming his sneakers after her. The 34-year-old rapper launched rants against him on both her Instagram and Twitter accounts on Friday, February 3.

"This is wonderful. #GiuseppeZanotti seems to think it's ok to name his sneakers after me but his PR says they won't take our call. Lol," the "Side to Side" rapper tweeted. "I met #GiuseppeZanotti years ago. At which time, he told me I inspired him to design a sneaker in my honor. Wore them on the cover of Cosmo."

On Instagram, she wrote, "Dear @giuseppezanottidesign#RunMeMyCHECK your PR must've fell & bumped their head when they told my agency they weren't discussing anything with us. I'm giving you 24 hours." She added, "#GiuseppeWhatsGood 23 pairs of sneakers in my collection & they won't take a call?"
