AceShowbiz - Nearly a year after David Bowie's death at age of 69, Columbia Records has released a new EP by the late musician to mark his 70th birthday. The EP, which is titled "No Plan", contains "Lazarus" off his last album "Blackstar" and three never-before-heard tracks including "Killing a Little Time", "When I Met You" and the title track, which is accompanied by a new music video.

Directed by Tom Hingston, the eerie video is heavily influenced by Bowie's 1976 film "The Man Who Fell to Earth". The visuals features a row of televisions in a store called Newton Electrical that showcase the song's lyrics during a rainy evening. As the video continues, a small crowd gathers outside the shopfront.

The video and four-track EP's release came around the same time BBC aired the documentary "David Bowie: The Last Five Years", which revealed that the late musician only discovered his cancer was terminal three months before his death.

The legendary singer passed away on January 10, 2016, just two days after his birthday and the release of "Blackstar". To mark his 70th birthday, a series of tribute events have been planned across the world. Titled "Celebrating David Bowie", the tribute will feature over 40 musicians and 30 local artists including Bowie's former bandmates Mike Garson, Earl Slick, Adrian Belew and Mark Plati among others.

The first show took place on Sunday, January 8 at London's Brixton Academy and was hosted by Gary Oldman, who delivered an emotional speech about Bowie at The BRIT Awards earlier this year. The London tribute will be followed by shows at Terminal 5 in New York (January 10), the Wiltern in Los Angeles (January 25), Sydney Opera House (January 29) and Tokyo Dome City Hall (February 2).
