AceShowbiz - Vin Diesel is skiing magnificently in a new "XXX: Return of Xander Cage" clip. Instead of doing it on a mainstream snowy land, Diesel, who plays Xander Cage, is set to ski in a jungle.
It starts with Cage setting up his skis on a giant construction. Police are below him, asking him not to do the dangerous act, but he keeps doing it anyway. He is jumping from an impossible height with skis at his feet, landing on sloping ground in the middle of foliage and skiing vigorously. He is sliding, jumping again and pulling off 360-degree turn.
The movie will be the third installment of the "XXX" movie franchise. The first movie was released in 2002, while the second, "XXX: State of the Union", came out in 2005. "XXX: Return of Xander Cage" will again follow the story of Xander Cage, an extreme athlete who has become government operative.
The official synopsis released by Paramount Pictures reads, "The third explosive chapter of the blockbuster franchise that redefined the spy thriller finds extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora's Box. Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments. Packed with the series' signature deadpan wit and bad-ass attitude, 'XXX: RETURN OF XANDER CAGE' will raise the bar on extreme action with some of the most mind-blowing stunts to ever be caught on film."
"XXX: Return of Xander Cage" is scheduled to hit global theaters on January 20, 2017. Also starring alongside Vin Diesel in the movie are Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Rory McCann, Kris Wu and Ariadna Gutierrez.
