'Justice League': Two More Key Characters Confirmed to Return

The upcoming superhero team-up movie will see the return of major villain from 'Batman v Superman' as well as an important character that will first be introduced in 'Wonder Woman'.

AceShowbiz - Justice League is confirmed to bring back two more pivotal DC characters. Warner Bros. has released a cast list as part of an official press kit for the upcoming movie, confirming that Jesse Eisenberg and Connie Nielsen will return.

Eisenberg and Nielsen will reprise their roles as the power-mad billionaire Lex Luthor and Queen Hippolyta respectively. The supervillain first appeared in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", while the mother of Diana Prince will first be introduced in "Wonder Woman" solo movie due out June 2, 2017.

"Justice League" will follow on November 17 in U.S. theaters. The superhero team-up movie also sees the return of Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher as the titular superhero squad. Jeremy Irons is back as Alfred Pennyworth, while Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, Kiersey Clemons and Ciaran Hinds will make their first appearances as Nuidis Vulko, Mera, Iris West and Steppenwolf respectively.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's [Henry Cavill] selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, they work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.
