In the leaked audio, a person believed to be Lauren can be heard talking to fellow band member Ally Brooke and describing them being worked like 'literal slaves.'

AceShowbiz - Just days after being charged with marijuana possession, Lauren Jauregui found herself in another controversy as a leaked audio clip revealed her sentiments towards Fifth Harmony's management. In the 17-second clip, which surfaced online hours after Camila Cabello's surprise exit, Lauren allegedly talked to fellow bandmate Ally Brooke, describing them being worked like "literal slaves."

"They're making decisions on a regular basis to f**k us over! To make us literal slaves," the woman in the clip said. "Like, literally slaves, Ally! We're doing f**king labor every day and we see nothing," she added, allegedly talking to bandmate Ally Brooke. "I know, I know," a person believed to be Ally replied.

It's unclear where the audio file originated or when the conversation was recorded. Lauren, Ally and the other 5H members have not yet offered any comments on the leaked audio.

Fifth Harmony has shown signs of exhaustion throughout 2016. During an interview for Billboard's cover story in May, all five members opened up about the pros and cons of going on world tours. They revealed that they were struggling with stress of promo and their grueling schedule. "I was having terrible anxiety, nonstop. My heart would beat really fast the whole day," Camila said, while Lauren blamed "the industry" for their stresses.

This exhaustion was reportedly part of the reason why Camila left the group. Earlier this year, Camila left one of 5H's concerts after storming off the stage midway through the show. She told fans she had suffered from an anxiety attack. She later apologized as she tweeted, "Hi Missouri, sorry I couldn't finish the set last night. Was having too much anxiety and couldn't finish it."

Camila addressed her departure on Instagram on Monday, December 19 by saying that she "did not intend to end things with Fifth Harmony this way" and her bandmates "were aware" of her plans on going solo. A source told PEOPLE that the remaining four members had tried to set up multiple meetings over the past few months and attempted "intervention" with everyone involved, but Camila didn't show up because she wanted "no part" in any of this. However, Camila source told the news outlet that the singer indeed had conversations with her former bandmates.
