The estranged couple has come to a temporary custody agreement on their six children after the FBI officially closed its investigation into Brad's actions on a private plane.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reached a temporary custody agreement on their six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. The agreement was approved by a judge on Friday, December 2.

Angie was granted a physical custody of their six kids. Brad, meanwhile, was ordered to continue his "therapeutic visitation" with their children, attend weekly individual and group therapy sessions, as well as participate in random drug and alcohol tests. The kids will also continue their individual counseling.

Additionally, a team of five mental health professionals are helping the family with "safe harbor therapy."

"Originally, Pitt had volunteered to do the drug and alcohol testing himself," a source tells ET. "But now that a judge has signed off on these docs, it has become mandatory and cannot be reversed without another court filing. Brad has not seen his children alone without a monitored therapist since the plane incident. Angelina has not left the children's side since the plane incident. She still has not completed her film ['First They Killed My Father']. She has been with them the whole time trying to make sure they heal."

So, will Brad have a chance to see the children on the upcoming holidays? "If a child says they don't want to see Brad on Christmas, the psychiatrist isn't going to force them," the source says, "That's the whole purpose of this agreement."

According to another insider, the custody agreement can be changed if Brad decides to petition the court as "it was agreed upon several months ago, which has continued."
