Even Amy Schumer doesn't always get what she wants. Following in the footsteps of a bunch of other celebrities, the comedienne recently took part in Mannequin Challenge during a dinner with some friends. But unfortunately, not everyone was willing to participate.
Schumer posted on Instagram a video of her and her pals tackling the viral trend at a restaurant in Chicago. "Welcome to the mannequin challenge," she dramatically said in front of the camera before showing some people in the dimly-lit room freezing in various poses.
Everything looked perfect until the "Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo" author moved to the kitchen, where the restaurant's staff continued doing their activities and completely ignored her.
"You guys, remember we said we were going to do the mannequin challenge? And everybody was going to stop moving?" Schumer asked them. No one paid attention to her as the staff members were too busy cleaning things up. "You guys? Guys?" she asked again.
The 35-year-old star eventually gave up and flipped the camera to show her face. "Mannequins don't play by the rules," she said.
