Mimi admits to being surprised when learning that Cannon's on-and-off girlfriend Brittany Bell is pregnant with his baby, but says she remains 'supportive' of her ex-husband.

Mariah Carey was as surprised as everyone else was when Nick Cannon confirmed that he's expecting a child with his on-and-off girlfriend Brittany Bell. Finally addressing the baby news, the diva said in an interview with Mario Lopez of "Extra" that she just found out about it last week.
"This is all news to me, 'cause I didn't know about this til maybe last week," the 46-year-old songbird told the host. "I asked him a question and then he kinda said yes, but didn't, and I'm like, it's kinda confirmed."
However, she assured everyone that she'd remain supportive of her ex. "I'll always be supportive of him... If he's happy that's great."
Cannon confirmed that he's the father of Bell's unborn baby during an interview on "The Breakfast Club" last week. "I got a baby on the way," he said. "God said be fruitful and multiply, I'm doing the Lord's work."
Bell, a former Miss Arizona USA, is already in her last trimester of pregnancy. The child will be her first and Cannon's third. He's already a dad to 5-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan whom he welcomed with Carey.
The baby news came weeks after Carey finalized her divorce from Cannon and after she broke up with her fiance James Packer. She's now focusing on her E! docu-series "Mariah's World" which is premiering on December 4.
