The arrival of 'Riverdale' pushes 'Supernatural' to Thursdays at 8 P.M. and bumps 'Legends of Tomorrow' to Tuesdays at 9 P.M.

AceShowbiz - Nearing the end of 2016, The CW has set its midseason schedule. The network has announced a premiere date for its new series "Riverdale" as well as the return dates of "The 100", "iZombie", "Reign" and "The Originals".
The live-action take on Archie Comics will debut Thursday, January 26 at 9 P.M. ET, pushing long-running series "Supernatural" to Thursdays at 9 P.M. ET. Hence "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is moved to Tuesdays at 9 P.M. ET beginning January 24.
After "Legends of Tomorrow" wraps up its second season on March 28, "iZombie" will take over the slot. The horror comedy series will kick off its third season with a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, April 4 at 8 P.M. ET, before airing on its regular time period at 9 P.M., following new episodes of "The Flash".
The CW has additionally set an end date for "The Vampire Diaries". The show's series finale is scheduled to air Friday, March 10. Its spin-off "The Originals" will fill the slot the following week on Friday, March 17 at 8 P.M.
"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" will wrap its second season Friday, February 3 at 9 P.M. Freshman dramas "No Tomorrow" and "Frequency" will air the last episodes Tuesday, January 17 at 9 P.M. and Wednesday, January 25 at 9 P.M., respectively. The network opted not to order additional episodes for both rookies, but have not made decisions yet about the shows' futures.
