AceShowbiz - Gigi Hadid is going to host the upcoming 44th annual American Music Awards. The model is booked to serve as an emcee along with former "Saturday Night Live" member Jay Pharoah for the November 20 awards show in Los Angeles.

"I'm so excited to host the 2016 AMAs with Jay Pharoah," Gigi gushes in a statement. "Jay is known for his spot-on impressions so I can't wait to take the stage with him to show my goofy side and celebrate this year's nominees!"

"Can't wait to host the AMAs with the beautiful Gigi Hadid (so much innocence in her eyes) and being in the building with some of my industry friends, who I've probably impersonated at some point I'm sure," the comedian was equally enthusiastic as he said. "It's gonna be a fun night!"

Bruno Mars will kick off the show while Sting will deliver a medley of his hits before receiving a special Merit Award. Other musical guests are John Legend, Fifth Harmony, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Twenty One Pilots, Shawn Mendes, Lady GaGa, Green Day, James Bay, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd.
