Katy Perry's dress-up play continued at her 32nd birthday party. After she and Orlando Bloom turned into Hillary and Bill Clinton at a Halloween party hosted by Kate Hudson on Friday night, the "Roar" hitmaker once again turned heads with her transformation at a 1950s-inspired sock hop bash she threw for her special day on Saturday, October 29.
Katy, who turned 32 on October 25, went vintage by rocking a big blonde updo and dressing in a yellow bow top. She shared a photo on Instagram showing her putting on makeup and thanked the party's sponsor, CoverGirl. "Thanks @COVERGIRL for keeping everyone clean-cut and QT at Hudson High, Home of the Poodles. [lips emoji] Principal Hudson. #KatyxCOVERGIRL," she wrote in the caption.
Katy paid tribute to her birth name Kathryn Hudson by naming the party's venue Hudson High. Her actor beau, Orlando, wore bright red short shorts and a matching sweatshirt for his girlfriend's birthday celebration.
Kate Hudson and Jessica Chastain were among guests at the party. Kate bared her midriff in a Marc Jacobs leather jacket, graphic floor-length skirt and headband. Jessica, meanwhile, wore a white halterneck dress and sported curly hair.
They took to their respective Instagram pages to share some snaps from the fun celebration.
