Ben was renting the house next door to stay close to his children and to help take them to school while the guest house at their main home was renovated. After the project was finished, however, the "Gone Girl" actor moved back into the main house.
"At some point it just seemed illogical to keep living separately," a source tells X17online, "He spends so much time in the main family home, the kids thought it was weird and they were asking lots of questions so both Jen and Ben thought it made sense for him to officially come home."
On Friday, October 7, Ben and Jennifer stepped out separately. The star of "The Accountant" was spotted in New York, while the "Miracles from Heaven" actress took care of their kids in Los Angeles.
