Drake wins Best Hip-Hop Video but he hasn't arrived because he's stuck in traffic, Calvin accepts his Moonman from a studio in England, and Fifth Harmony's win was announced before the live show.

AceShowbiz - Drake may arrive late to the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards tonight, but that didn't stop him from winning one of the first awards presented on the Sunday, August 28 event. The Canadian MC won Best Hip Hop Video for "Hotline Bling". He hasn't arrived because he's stuck in traffic.

Calvin Harris has also bagged one Moonman for Best Male Video for his "This Is What You Came For" featuring Rihanna. He couldn't attend the VMAs because he had a show in the U.K., so delivered his speech in a video. He thanked his collaborator Rihanna, the music video's director and everyone who has supported the song and watched the video.

Also taking home one prize from the star-studded event was Fifth Harmony. They won Song of Summer for "All In My Head" featuring Fetty Wap. It was announced before the live show.

More winners will be announced as the ceremony is still underway at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Rihanna, Future, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj have performed, but there will be more stars such as Britney Spears and Beyonce Knowles rocking the stage.
