Future took the VMAs stage for the first time on Sunday, August 28. The 32-year-old rapper performed his hit "F**k Up Some Commas" after an introduction by Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps.

Future rocked a red leather jacket, top and pants paired with silver shoes and sunglasses. The "Turn on the Lights" rapper was joined by red-dressed dancers and his performance was full of red lights.

Nick Jonas, meanwhile, belted out his single "Bacon" with Ty Dolla $ign. After grabbing a plate of bacon from a kitchen of New York City's restaurant Tick Tock Diner, he performed at the restaurant along with A$AP Ferg and DNCE, the band that includes his brother Joe Jonas. He later handed the spotlight to Ty outside the restaurant before taking the stage outside the Madison Square Garden.

Rihanna hit the stage for the second time at the 2016 VMAs with her performance of "Rude Boy", "What's My Name", and "Work". She wore a furry bra paired with a white top with a cap, fishnet stockings and black pants.
