"Deadpool 2" is currently in early stage of development, but there have been rumblings about the movie. It was recently reported that Mackenzie Davis was being considered to take the role of Neena Thurman a.k.a. Domino in the the follow-up to "Deadpool".

Speaking to GQ, the "Halt and Catch Fire" actress addresses rumor that she will appear as the said character alongside Ryan Reynolds' titular character. Asked about her possible involvement in the sequel, the 29-year-old actress answered, "No! [laughs]It's very interesting."

She continued, "People keep sending me printouts being like, 'This is so cool!' and I'm like, 'Right?' I also think it's cool! But it's not true!" However, she seemed to be interested in being involved in the film, saying, "I mean. I'd love to keep the ruse going. It's sort of cool that people think I'm doing 'Deadpool', but no! I don't have any news to share. I wish I did!"

Davis made her feature film debut in 2012's "Smashed". She also appeared opposite Zac Efron and Miles Teller in "That Awkward Moment" and alongside Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain in "The Martian". She is currently filming her part in the untitled Blade Runner project which is expected to hit U.S. theaters on October 6, 2017.

Meanwhile, the second "Deadpool" movie is expected to start filming in early 2017. Tim Miller will be back as a director, with Reynolds returning as the foul-mouthed mercenary. The story is still kept under tight wraps. However, Cable, who was originally planned to appear in the first film, is confirmed to finally be introduced in the sequel with Kyle Chandler reportedly being considered to take the role.
