AceShowbiz - Bella Thorne is back on the market following her split from Gregg Sulkin. The former "Shake It Up" star and the "Faking It" alum have called it quits after a year of dating. Representatives for the exes release a joint statement regarding their breakup.
"After much thought and soul-searching, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship. We will always love each other and have a deep respect for one another, as we have each grown to be better people because of our time together. Our schedules made seeing each other difficult, and we decided that for now this would be best," Bella and Gregg tell PEOPLE.
Bella has been filming "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan" in Montreal while Gregg has been busy developing MTV's "F-Unemployed" in Los Angeles.
In Twitter exchange with fans, Bella shares some sweet words for her former boyfriend. She tells a fan, "Things just didn't end up working the way we had hoped. But I'll always love the bub." She responds to another fan's question, "Me too sweets. He helped me through such a rough time I couldn't be more thankful for him."

Bella and Gregg started out as friends, so it's no surprise that they will continue to be pals following their separation. Earlier this year, the former couple, who often documented their romance via social media, bought a house together.
