AceShowbiz - The world premiere for "Suicide Squad" was held at New York City's Beacon Theater on Monday evening, August 1. The event was also attended by most of its main cast members, including Margot Robbie and Jared Leto who hit the black carpet in their eye-catching outfits.
The Harley Quinn depicter looked gorgeous in a black Alexander McQueen gown with a gold unicorn emblazoned across the front. Meanwhile, the Joker depicter stole people's attention with his fantastical outfit, an embroidered Gucci jacket with floral detailing and a lion motif on the back.
They were joined by Will Smith who looked dapper in his suit. He was accompanied by his 18-year-old son Jaden Smith on the black carpet. Cara Delevingne was another cast member showing up at the premiere. She looked stunning in her sheer mini-dress and ruffled tie on the side. She also wore thigh-high black suede Christian Louboutin boots and added dramatic shimmering eye shadow.
Another cast member at the event was Joel Kinnaman. He was joined by his tattoo artist wife Cleo Wattenstrom and looked handsome in a blue suit and tie. Viola Davis also attended the event and looked chic in a shimmery gray gown. She was accompanied by actor-producer husband Julius Tennon. Karen Fukuhara was sporting a pretty floor-length gown with a delicate silver detail at the premiere.
Scott Eastwood also came to the event wearing a pinstriped navy suit and tie. Actor Jai Courtney arrived at the premiere with girlfriend Mecki Dent. Director David Ayer also joined the actors as he posed for photographer together with Will, Jai, Eastwood, Adam Beach and British actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
"Suicide Squad" hits U.S. theaters this Friday. The film centers on a secret government organization led by Amanda Waller (Davis) giving a mission to a task force comprising of super villains, the Suicide Squad. They are assigned to execute dangerous tasks in exchange for shorter prison sentences.
