Two months after announcing that they are expecting their second second child, Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle took to social media to reveal their baby's sex. The former Jonas Brothers member announced the news by uploading a photo of his firstborn daughter Alena Rose holding a big pink heart balloon with the words "baby girl" on it. "We're having a GIRL!!!!!!!!" he captioned the picture.
Danielle also announced the news on her own Instagram account. She posted a video featuring her family gathering for her sex reveal party. In the video, someone held two jars, one with peanut M&Ms and another one with milk chocolate M&Ms. The jars were labeled "nuts" and "no nuts" respectively. After a family member held up the "no nuts" jar, a woman shouted, "It's a girl. I knew it. I knew it."
The revelation came just one month after Kevin said that he wanted another baby girl. During an interview on the Sirius XM satellite radio show "Nigel Barker's Gentleman's Code", Kevin admitted, "I've actually always wanted two girls. I just want a healthy baby, to clarify. I want healthy children. But I've always like wanted two kids that were both girls and my wife was like, 'Why?' I'm like, 'Because I've been around boys so much my entire life that I want to be surrounded by, you know, girls."
