From a hunky werewolf, Taylor Lautner transforms into a handsome doctor. The 24-year-old actor has been added to the cast of "Scream Queens" for season 2, which will be mainly set in a hospital owned by Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis).

The Jacob Black of the "Twilight Saga" movie series took to Instagram to announce his involvement in the horror comedy series. "Big news everyone!! Thrilled to be joining @screamqueensFox it's going to be such a blast playing Dr. Cassidy Cascade," he posted along with a picture of a bloody hand.

Emma Roberts (Chanel Oberlin), Abigail Breslin (Libby Putney a.k.a. Chanel #5), Billie Lourd (Sadie Swenson a.k.a. Chanel #3), Lea Michele (Hester Ulrich) and Keke Palmer (Zayday Williams) are returning for the second season. Their characters are now working at the hospital.

Lautner will play Dr. Caddidy Cascade, who becomes involved with Chanel #3. The character suffers from a bizarre medical condition and becomes a suspect when a series of tragedies plagues the institution. Lautner joins "Full House" alum John Stamos who was recently cast as Dr. Brock Holt, the hospital's brilliant, but secretive, head surgeon.

Following his breakthrough role in the "Twilight" movie series, Lautner has taken on roles in romantic comedy movie "Valentine's Day", action film "Abduction", comedy films "Grown Ups 2" and "The Ridiculous Six" as well as sitcom "Cuckoo".

"Scream Queens" season 2 will premiere Tuesday, September 20 at 9/8c on FOX.
