Harrow Crown Court heard recording of a 999 call made by the 'Body on Me' hitmaker after she was woken up by the burglars in November 2015.

AceShowbiz - Rita Ora broke down in tears on Wednesday, June 22 as she relieved the terrifying moment when she was woken up by the burglars in her London home last year. Harrow Crown Court heard recording of a 999 call made by the 'Body on Me' hitmaker back in November 2015.
Rita's sister Elena was sleeping in her downstairs bedroom when she woke up to find a man going through her drawers. "I went to sleep and was woken up by a scream," Rita explained, "I was half asleep, then woke up and heard my sister running up the stairs. I opened the door ... she just ran up the stairs then she jumped on my bed and started screaming."
Rita was heard telling the operator, "I need you to come to the house right now, there's a burglary in my house. I have just locked myself in my room, my sister saw him in my room. Can you just send them right now? How long are you gonna be?"
The "Black Widow" singer could be heard gasping and panicked. "What do I do, what do I do, oh my God," she said, before being asked to spell her name. Turning to her sister, she said, "We need to get ready just in case some s**t happens."
Rita the turned away from the phone and screamed at the burglars, "Don't f*****g come up these stairs. I will f**k you up, you f*****g hear me." She was gasping as she told the operator, "Oh my God, I don't have a knife, I know they're going to come upstairs. What do you want me to do now? I will kill him."
She then told her sister, "Stand next to me and we can f**k him up as he walks up the stairs."
Rita broke down in tears after the 999 recording was played, asking for a moment to compose herself. "That phone call freaked me out a bit," she told the court, "Give me a moment."
Elena identified Charaf Elmoudden, 26, as one of the invaders, who stole nearly $295,000 worth of jewelry, clothes, iPhones and Apple Mac computers from Rita's home. Charaf denied the single charge of burglary and insisted he's the victim of mistaken identity.
However, Elena revealed that she made complete eye contact with him. "At one point he was an arm's length away which was really scary because it means he was looking at me directly while I was asleep," she said during the hearing, "He looked dead in my eyes. I wouldn't forget that face ever."
