Are Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding dating? The royal prince and the "Love Me Like You Do" hitmaker were spotted canoodling at the Audi Polo challenge in Coworth Park, Berkshire last week. Onlookers reveal the pair were "all over each other" and appeared to share a kiss under a blanket.
Rumor has it, Harry is secretly courting Ellie and they have also been swapping regular flirty texts in recent weeks. "He has told friends how much he likes Ellie and she is clearly taken by him," a source close to royal prince tells The Sun.
The pair reportedly grew close after she performed at Prince William's wedding. "Harry got Ellie's number a while ago and got in touch," the source says, "They'd always got on very well through their various meetings after she was the wedding singer at Kate and William's wedding reception. But things stepped up a gear and they had been in touch in recent weeks and their first really public meeting since was at the polo."
According to the source, there was a late-night party after the polo. "It turned into a real party late into the night and there was a complete ban on taking pictures so Harry and the other celebrities there could feel comfortable," the source reveals, "Harry was really going for it after the polo - he was drinking and dancing."
"They were part of a wider group including Tom Hardy. But Harry and Ellie only had eyes for each other all night - they spent a lot of time sitting together under blankets. They were seen having a kiss before Harry had to go because he was playing polo the next day. Ellie left about five minutes later," adds the source.
Ellie shared on Instagram a photo of her and Tom during the Polo event. "Delightful day and had fun performing at the Polo supporting @sentebale and @tusk_org both incredible causes... Thank you @audiuk for having me... Lovely to meet you Mr Hardy!" she captioned it.
Harry and Ellie's hook-up rumors emerged one day after he was rumored to be dating Olivia Tallent, the daughter of Garry Tallent, a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Olivia started making headlines after she tweeted a photo with the royal prince and adorably captioned it, "New boyfriend." She later clarified that her posting was only a joke.
