Emmy-winning series "Fargo" is welcoming Ewan McGregor in two leading roles. The British actor is playing brothers named Emmit and Ray Stussy who not only look quite different but also lead two different lives.

Per Deadline, "Emmit Stussy is the Parking Lot King of Minnesota. A handsome, self-made, real estate mogul and family man, he sees himself as an American success story. His slightly younger brother, on the other hand, is more of a cautionary tale. Balding and pot-bellied, Ray is the kind of guy who peaked in high school. Now a parole officer, he has a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he's been dealt, and he blames Emmit for his misfortunes."

The anthology series' creator Noah Hawley previously said that the third season will inch closer to present day, being set in 2010. He also said a character from previous season might make an appearance. Filming is scheduled to begin later this year for a premiere in 2017.

The first season starred Billy Bob Thornton while the second season was led by Kirsten Dunst and Patrick Wilson. McGregor was the first cast to be announced for the third season. The actor also pulls double roles in his new movie "Last Days in the Desert" as both Jesus and Satan.
