ABC announces more guest co-hosts that will join Kelly Ripa when Michael Strahan leaves "Live! with Kelly and Michael" later this month. "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett, comedian Cedric the Entertainer, ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir and "Hawaii Five-O" star Daniel Dae Kim are booked for the job.
Strahan will leave on May 13 and join "Good Morning America" in September. Smollett is scheduled to join Ripa on May 17, Cedric is set to temporarily fill in the vacant seat left by Strahan on May 18, Muir is coming on May 19, and Dae Kim is booked for May 20. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel will drop by to help Ripa on May 16, the first day of the week.
The search for Strahan's permanent replacement is still going on. Mario Lopez has expressed his desire to join Ripa on the show and Anderson Cooper is also keen to fill in the vacant seat, but it's unclear if any offer has been made to them.
