It seems like there's still bad blood between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. The "Blank Space" singer and the "California Gurls" hitmaker reportedly had an awkward run-in at the 2016 Met Gala which took place in New York City on Monday night, May 2.
However, an insider claimed that Katy only worried about her appearance that night as she wanted to look fabulous. "Katy was worried only about her outfit at the MET Ball, she didn't have anytime to worry about running into Taylor or have an awkward encounter, plus it is easy to avoid people if you really need to," the source told HollywoodLife.com.
The source hinted that the "Roar" hitmaker didn't even think about Taylor. "She didn't have Taylor on her mind, she was a non factor in her preparation or fun or lack there of for the night," the insider added.
The two have had a longstanding feud and it became more popular after Taylor released her hit "Bad Blood" which many believe is a song about Katy. Taylor's squad from the "Bad Blood" music video including Zendaya Coleman, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Selena Gomez also attended the event, but fortunately they didn't seem to have awkward encounters with Katy.
