Alicia Keys is finally back with brand new music. After spending weeks teasing it on social media, the singer has just released the single "In Common" which serves as the first preview of her next album.

The upbeat, dancehall-inspired track is a departure from Keys' previous sound. Over the laid-back beat, she sings about a lover whom she says has "way too much in common" with her. "Who wants to love somebody like me?/ You wanna know somebody like me?/ If you could love somebody like me/ You must be messed up too," she tells him.

The 35-year-old singer will deliver a live performance of "In Common" when she visits "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, May 7. Brie Larson, who won an Oscar earlier this year for her appearance in "Room", is hosting the episode.

Keys is expected to release her new album this year. She dropped her latest studio effort, "Girl on Fire", back in 2012 and has since followed it up with some singles including "Its On Again" from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" soundtrack and "We Are Here".
