Could things get any more awkward on "Live! with Kelly and Michael"? Apparently they could. After previously dropping a "contract negotiations" zinger, Kelly Ripa shocked her soon-to-be ex-cohost Michael Strahan by bringing up his divorces during the show.

"There's a great article in the paper, and I want to get your take on it 'cause I don't have a take on it, but I want yours. So, um, you've gotten divorced ...," Ripa said, prompting Strahan to turn to the camera and force smile with a straight face.

Kelly went on to explain a parenting technique called "bird nesting" where separate parents keep their kids in one home and take turns staying with them. "We talked about me locking my bedroom doors yesterday," Strahan poked fun at himself. "If I'm sharing a house with my ex ...(and) she can still get in with a key at any point, I'm definitely locking the door." He added, "I'm not going to do it. Maybe I should. Her house is nicer than mine."

Michael Strahan was divorced twice. He split from his first wife Wanda Hutchins in 1996. They share a daughter and a son. He married Jean Muggli three years later, but it ended in a messy divorce in 2006. They have twin daughters. He was then engaged to Nicole Mitchell, Eddie Murphy's ex-wife, from 2009 to 2014.

Meanwhile, Kelly Ripa has been married to her "All My Children" co-star Mark Consuelos for 20 years. They have three children and recently celebrated their wedding anniversary.
