The five-piece announces and explains the delay in a Twitter video, saying their second album will now arrive on May 27 because the number 27 'is quite important to us.'

AceShowbiz - Fifth Harmony fans will have to wait a bit longer to get the group's new album, "7/27". The ladies have just announced that the record, which was set for May 20, will now arrive a week later on May 27.

They explained the delay in a video posted on Twitter Friday, April 22. "The number 27, as you guys have already probably figured out, is quite important to us. It means a lot of different things," Lauren Jauregui said. "And so to keep cohesive with the theme of 27, we have decided to push it one week to the 27th. One week will be nothing."

"7/27" marks Fifth Harmony's second full-length project, following their 2015 debut set "Reflection" that peaked at No. 5 on Billboard 200 and spawned some hits like "Sledgehammer" and the Kid Ink-assisted "Worth It".

The upcoming album is led by "Work from Home", a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign which became 5H's first top 10 hit on Billboard Hot 100 and their highest-charting single to date when it recently reached No. 7 on the list.
