Hailey Baldwin opened up for the first time about her relationship with Justin Bieber. The 19-year-old daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin admitted that it's "hard" to date fellow celebrity.

Baldwin was pictured kissing the singer's neck in a black and white photo taken during their romantic trip to the beach in January. Baldwin said in a new interview with Marie Claire that their romance attracted unwanted attention from the world.

"I don't want attention out of dating somebody," Baldwin told the magazine. "Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls ... it's hard to date somebody in this industry." She also revealed the difficulty of dating somebody that famous. "You have to have really thick skin and be very strong," she said. "You have to focus on the person and nothing else. And you have to, as best you can, block out all the extra noise."

In fact, she refused to be known for her high-profile romance or her friendship with such stars as Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid. "You can't be a slash," Baldwin shared in the magazine's May issue. "You can't be a modelslash-actress-slash-singer-slash-backup dancer. Find your lane, and parlay it into something that works for you."

In February's interview with GQ, Bieber called Baldwin someone he loved. "We spend a lot of time together," he said.
