Brett Rossi wins a restraining order against the actor while LAPD continues investigation over the alleged threatening tape.

Charlie Sheen's ex Brett Rossi is awarded a restraining order against the actor on Friday, April 8. The order was based on the former porn star's claims that he physically assaulted her and threatened to have her killed in a taped audio.

In the documents obtained by PEOPLE, Ross alleged that "Mr. Sheen choked Ms. Ross to the point of almost losing consciousness," and he also "repeatedly kicked Ms. Ross while she was on the ground." In the recording, Sheen allegedly said of her, "This piece of s**t needs to be f**king buried," and, "It's treason. You know what treason is? It's punishable by death."

Rossi went on claiming that Sheen offered money in exchange for her life. "I'd rather spend $20,000 to have her head kicked in. Then people will realize, oh, it's dangerous," Sheen allegedly said in the tape which transcript was acquired by RadarOnline and the National Enquirer.

Rossi filed an emergency restraining order against Sheen last week after finding out about the tape. He denied the tape, saying it was a public stunt in her part. LAPD then obtained a warrant to search evidence at the tabloids' New York headquarters but the publications refused to hand over the audio. They argued that it's illegal to use such warrants against media organizations relating to "newsworthy" information.
