The second installment of the TV adaptation of Wes Craven's slasher film franchise will debut Monday, May 30 at 9/8c on MTV.

AceShowbiz - "Scream" returns earlier for its second season. Initially planned to debut on Tuesday, May 31, the new chapter will now kick off on Monday, May 30 at 9/8 on MTV. It is yet known if the show is moving to Mondays or if it is a one-night special premiere.
MTV announced the premiere date along with a new teaser. Titled "Killer Cast", it features the surviving characters from the first season and reminds us that everyone could be the killer. "How do you know whether you're the cat or the mouse?" one asks.
Season 2 picks up with Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) returning to Lakewood after a few months away at retreat. As for everyone else, some are still hiding secrets, some are hiding romances, and odds are, some are hiding murderous tendencies.
Bex Taylor-Klaus, John Karna, Amadeus Serafini, Carlson Young and Tom Maden also return, while Kiana Lede, Santiago Segura, Anthony Ruivivar, Austin Highsmith and Sean Grandillo are among the new cast members.
