Producer Malay, who's also collaborated with Ocean on the acclaimed 'Channel Orange', says fans will get the Odd Future rapper's new album anytime he feels he's 'ready.'

AceShowbiz - The long wait for Frank Ocean's highly-anticipated new album may finally be over soon. According to producer Malay who collaborated with the rapper on what's been rumored to be titled "Boys Don't Cry", the project is definitely underway and could arrive in a month.

"I always tell people: When [Ocean's] ready, the world is gonna get it," Malay, whose real name is James Ho, said in a new interview with Pitchfork. "It could be tomorrow...well not tomorrow but maybe a month [laughs]."

"We've all been working hard. He's been working super hard. I feel like he's working harder than he's ever worked in his life," he continued and went on to tease what Ocean's upcoming LP would offer, "I'm excited for everyone to hear it. I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised, for sure."

Frank Ocean released his debut album, "Channel Orange", in 2012. Malay worked closely with the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All affiliate on the critically-acclaimed set, featured on 13 of its 17 tracks. The record appeared in numerous best album of the year lists and got nominated for multiple awards, including the coveted Album of the Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2013 Grammys. Ocean won the latter title.

Fans have been anticipating its follow-up since he hinted last year that he's dropping "Boys Don't Cry" in July 2015. Earlier this year, he reportedly threw a secret listening party. Some new songs from the bash managed to make their way out online, but were immediately removed.
