AceShowbiz - Frank Ocean has sent the Internet into a frenz with his new look. Many people on Instagram barely recognized the "Thinkin Bout You" hitmaker after he shared a photo of himself with braids.

The said picture was re-shared by The Neighborhood Talk on Wednesday, January 31. That's where people left mixed responses, with one writing, "Now who tf is this."

Another person likened Frank to Kyrie Irving, while a third opined, "He look like that one actor that played as Candy Man." Someone else added, "He been out the way for 7 years and that's the longest his hair got?"

Others, meanwhile, urged the emcee to release a new project. "We don't want lewks, we want music," one user declared. A second one asked, "WHERE IS THE ALBUM." A third chimed in, "I'LL FEEL IT EVEN BETTER AFTER HE DROP A TRIPLE ALBUM TO MAKE UP FOR THE LOST TIME."

There are also comments begging Frank to drop new music soon. Among the replies read, "ok cool. where's the album frank," "Does this mean new music though…!!!!!!!?????" and "I DO NOT GIVE A DAMN WHAT THIS MAN LOOKS LIKE!! WHERE is the MUSICCCCC??"

Frank hasn't released any new material since 2020. In November 2023, however, he posted on his Instagram Story to offer the clip of a track that has a runtime of just under four minutes.

During his Coachella set earlier that year, the music star confirmed a new album is on the way. Upon returning to the stage after six years at the world-famous festival in April, he teased, "I wanna talk about why we're here … because it's not about the new album… not that there's NOT a new album."
