Louis C.K. and Russell Brand are teaming up to support soldiers. The two funnymen are scheduled to do "An Amazing Night of Comedy" on April 30 at the New York City Center in an effort to raise funds benefitting veterans with PTSD.

They will be joined by Jim Gaffigan and Vanessa Bayer at the benefit event. Tickets have gone on sale starting March 11. Proceeds will go to David Lynch Foundation to help veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder and their families.

Lynch is an advocate of Transcendental Meditation made famous by The Beatles in the 1960s and now used for treating post-traumatic stress, depression and other afflictions. In addition to helping soldiers, the David Lynch Foundation launched in 2005 assisted domestic violence victims, homeless people and many other groups in need.
