Eva reveals on her blog that her husband Kyle Martino fired the nanny who looked after their daughter Marlowe Mae after he felt that she crossed the line.

Eva Amurri would have had her own nannygate scandal had it not been for her loyal husband. The daughter of Susan Sarandon has revealed that her hubby Kyle Martino had to fire the family nanny who looked after their daughter Marlowe Mae after she tried to flirt with her husband.
The 30-year-old actress and lifestyle blogger shared the bizarre experience on her blog Happily Eva After on Monday, February 29. She wrote that just three weeks after hiring the nanny, her soccer commentator husband Kyle received a provocative text message from her.
"An hour before [the nanny] was supposed to arrive for the day, Kyle got a text message from her show up on his cell phone. It said: 'OMG. Girl, did I mention to you how hot and sex my Boss is. I would love to f**k his brains out ha haah. Too bad he seems not to like thick Latin women with lots to hold on to LOL,' " she recalled the incident that happened just last week.
Kyle at first thought the text was an embarrassing mistake. But when he returned home that day to drop Kyle off with the nanny, the former soccer player noticed the nanny peeping through the curtains of their bedroom window.
When Kyle confronted the nanny, she claimed she was in the bedroom because she was looking for him. As for the text message, she explained, "I'm sorry I was just messing around with a friend I didn't mean any harm." Kyle decided to send the nanny packing anyway.
After the incident, the couple scrambled to find a new nanny. They eventually moved from their home in California to Westchester, New York, while Kyle works on the East Coast, so that they can be together.
Calling it a "traumatic and bizarre experience and extremely inconvenient," Eva said the situation has "brought us even closer (emotionally and geographically) than we would have been otherwise."
She's also grateful for her "strong relationship" with her husband. She added, "I know that this happens all the time with different results. The rumors of this type of thing are all over the tabloids all the time."
