'The X-Files' Finale Sneak Peek Teases Scully's Connection to Aliens
TV

What are the motives behind the conspiracy and whether Scully is really an alien are the questions posed in the opening scene of the reboot's finale.

AceShowbiz - While millions of U.S. viewers tuned into Super Bowl 50 on CBS on Sunday, February 7, FOX distracted the attention by releasing a sneak peek for "The X-Files" finale. The two-and-a-half-minute opening scene from the reboot's last episode is narrated by Gillian Anderson's Dana Scully.

In the video that was released online for a limited time, Scully recaps the series from the beginning of her partnership with Fox Mulder (David Duchovny). She doesn't forget to include the story of her mysterious kidnapping.

As her and Mulder's investigation leads to "a conspiracy of men hiding science for almost 60 years," she notes that their "motives and their final objectives" are still unknown. She also talks about her finding of her "DNA anomalies that i can only classify as alien," as the scene shows Scully's face turning into an alien.

"The X-Files" airs Mondays at 8 P.M. ET on FOX. The last episode is set to air on February 22.
