Mariah Carey is ready to marry James Packer, but she's not ready to have kids with him. The "We Belong Together" hitmaker, who just got engaged to the Australian billionaire, revealed that she had no plan to have babies with her beloved fiance.
In an interview with Diana Madison, Carey opened up about her busy schedule as a mother plus a professional singer. The 46-year-old songtress was asked about how she could allocate her time for her children while she sometimes had to travel around the world and be away from them for a long time. "It's hard," she revealed. "It only gets harder, but you know what? We make it work and we do our best."
Carey, who has 4-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan from her marriage with Nick Cannon, also revealed that she didn't have plan to have babies with Packer. She was afraid that welcoming another baby would make her kids jealous. "No, those are my two babies," she explained. "I think they would be so jealous because they get upset when I pet the dog."
The "We Belong Together" singer added that all that she wanted was to make her children happy. "I want them to be happy with whatever they do. I want them to be safe and protected and around good people," she said. "But I want them to be happy."
As for her agenda in the coming years, it seems like Carey has no specific plan for her career. "I don't know, somewhere singing, working, hanging out, doing the same stuff," she stated.
