The 'Orange Is the New Black' star has taken to Twitter to address allegations that she violently attacked her make-up artist Holly Hartman.

AceShowbiz - Taryn Manning took to Twitter on early Friday, January 29 to address allegations that she brutally attacked her make-up artist Holly Hartman. "You can be famous in others ways too you know? Like the right way...not like this," she wrote.

The "Orange Is the New Black" star continued, "People ask my advice about how to make it...well I know how not to make it harder. Use discernment when befriending a fan. Typically I don't use the word 'fan' but that aside I can't help how some of my fans act. I love you all who remain sane and loving! thk u."

Earlier in the day, TMZ reported that Holly filed to get restraining order against Taryn after several alleged brawls. The make-up artist claimed Taryn headbutted her in the face, whipped her with a wet towel, sprayed Windex in her eyes and mouth and put her in a headlock at her NYC apartment in November.

During the fight, claimed Holly, Taryn yelled, "Pick a knife. I'm wearing a white shirt there will be a lot of blood. You will be famous for killing Taryn Manning."

Although the alleged brawl occurred in NYC, Holly filed her court documents in L.A. The judge has denied the restraining order.

Taryn's legal team said Holly's request for restraining order was "suspect" as the actress hadn't had any contacts with her in recent months. According to Taryn's legal team, it's actually Holly who's "under investigation for stalking Ms. Manning and for theft and other crimes" in multiple cities. They believed the make-up artist was trying to "obscure her own wrong doing."

Sources close to Taryn said the actress was planning to take a legal action against Holly.
