'We've always said if they're going to be actors I hope they do something [else first] and then be actors,' Jolie says of the possibility of her children following in her acting footsteps.

Angelina Jolie doesn't really want her six children to follow in her and Brad Pitt's footsteps to be actors. While stopping by "Today" show to promote "Kung Fu Panda 3" on Thursday, January 28, the "Maleficent" actress admitted that she and her husband Pitt hoped that their children would take other jobs first before joining in film industry as actors.

"I hope not!" Jolie said with a laugh when asked if she would get her children into the business. "We've always said if they're going to be actors I hope they do something [else first] and then be actors." However, the 40-year-old actress admitted that she included some of her children in the animated film.

"I think what was so sweet about it was that they took it very seriously," Jolie said of the moment when her children provided animal noises for some of the pandas in the movie. "They came in and said, 'I don't know if I could do this. I'm not sure if I can do this'... but they really took it seriously as a job and getting it right and not doing a bad job."

In a separate interview for the upcoming issue of PEOPLE magazine, the mother of six said that her eldest son Maddox might have watched R-rated movies. During the interview, Jolie's co-star Jack Black explained that he didn't want his children to watch any of his R-rated films yet.

"I don't think they're ready for 'The Pick of Destiny', where I smoke a bong with Satan. But someday they probably will be," said the actor, to which Jolie quipped, "Whereas my eldest probably already has. My oldest especially loves Jack's music. He's introduced him to a few words, few thoughts."
