Newly engaged Mariah Carey and James Packer are not yet divorced from their former husband and wife. Mariah, who recently showed off her 35-carat engagement ring, is still married to Nick Cannon, while James is still married to Erica Packer.

According to TMZ, Mariah and Nick "have still not fully settled their financial issues, despite the fact there was a very specific prenup." The exes are reportedly in the process of resolving the remaining issues so they can finalize their divorce.

Nick was reportedly trying to gain more money from Mariah. Back in August, Mariah had a meeting with her lawyers to find some pressure points to make Nick seal the deal on the divorce.

James, meanwhile, separated from his wife Erica back in 2013. Erica has been dating Seal. But Australia reportedly have slowed the divorce process way down.

Mariah was engaged to James on January 21 during a private dinner with close friends at Eleven Madison Park in NYC.

A source told E! News, "They fell head over heels in love with one another. It's crazy how perfect they are together, they both know it and couldn't be happier. As soon as their friendship turned romantic, they have wanted to spend every moment together."
