AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus was scheduled to perform at Linda Perry's party in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, January 5. However, she ended up missing it as she continued to spend time in Australia with her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth.
According to E! News, the party was held in honor of "Hands of Love", the gay rights anthem written by Perry and recorded by Cyrus for the film "Freeheld". Perry herself announced that her collaborator couldn't show up because she's still in Aussie.
Despite Cyrus' absence, the show continued as planned with performances from Perry, Courtney Love, Juliette Lewis, The Cult's Ian Asbury and Christina Aguilera. Familiar faces attending the bash included Love's daughter Frances Bean Cobain, Jodie Foster and her wife Alexandra Hedison, Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson (II), Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler and Donald Faison.
Cyrus and Hemsworth called off their engagement back in 2013. They've been rumored rekindling their relationship since they were spotted spending time together and even sharing a kiss at an Australian music festival called Falls Festival last weekend.
