According to eyewitnesses, the former lovers spent time together at an Australian music festival over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - New year old flame? Miley Cyrus reportedly is back in the arms of her former fiance Liam Hemsworth after the two were spotted spending time together in Australia recently.
Cyrus and Hemsworth allegedly locked lips at an Australian music festival called Falls Festival in Byron Bay on Saturday, January 2 night. Cyrus was in good company as she joined his brothers Chris Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth as well as their wives on the VIP area.
According to Australia's The Daily Telegraphs, Cyrus and Hemsworth spent about half an hour in the packed VIP area, drinking with a group of friends before they moved to an open arena. The celebrities were reportedly surrounded by security to ensure that they were able to enjoy the night without interruption. The couple watched Disclosure's 90 minute set that started at 10.40 P.M.
Falls Festival Instagram account confirmed the three Hemsworth brothers' attendance with a black and white photo, but Cyrus managed to stay out of the snaps.
Cyrus and Hemsworth had been dating for five years before they split in 2013. "You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage," he told Men's Health in October. He added, "I mean, look - we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change."
"And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."
