It's a girl! Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, have welcomed their first child together on Wednesday, December 16 morning. "Both Mom and Dad are over the moon; Christmas definitely came early!" a source close to Johnson told PEOPLE. Another insider told E! Online that he was emotional and excited to meet the baby for the first time.
No details yet about the delivery. The couple had announced the baby's sex in November by captioning a picture of them and the baby bump on Instagram. "I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more... IT'S A BABY GIRL!! THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you've sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world. We're so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y'all," Johnson wrote.
Hashian repost the same picture and joked over the weekend, "So grateful and in awe of this time. To experience creating a little life is just incredible. This beautiful cycle of life and womanhood beginning again. And like Big Daddy says, couldn't be prouder of all the kickass women she's going to have around her! And men of course ... #LetsJustHopeBigDaddyDoesntweigh20lbBaby."
The baby joins older sister, 14-year-old Simone, who is Johnson's daughter with ex-wife Dany Garcia. The actor has been dating Hashian for 10 years.
