Though Selena Gomez made it clear that she's not dating Niall Horan, the brunette beauty recently reignited the dating speculation by attending his band One Direction's performance on "The X Factor" on Sunday, December 13. Fans on Twitter claimed that they spotted Selena walking with Niall backstage at the show.
"So just walked past selena, niall, grimmy and the contestants backstage at x factor?? Trying to keep my cool..!!" wrote user @BackDavison, adding, "They kinda just walked together with some security." Meanwhile, another user @norway_updates said that Selena and Niall didn't hold hands as saying, "No they weren't! Another fan said they were just walking;). I think their just friends. Or maybe their friends with benefits:)."
During her red carpet appearance at the 2015 Billboard's Women in Music event on Friday, Selena denied rumors saying that she's dating Niall. "Oh my god! No," the "Good for You" singer told a reporter while laughing. "I love him, I always have. He's amazing."
Later on the same day Selena clarified her relationship with Niall, she was photographed kissing her ex-boyfriend Zedd. The picture was taken after they performed "I Want You to Know" together at the Z-100 Jingle Ball concert in New York. While Selena planted a kiss on the DJ's cheek, he was smiling at the camera. It's unclear whether or not they're getting back together as a couple.
