AceShowbiz - In a rather unexpected move, Gucci has named 30 Seconds to Mars' frontman Jared Leto as the face of its new Guilty fragrance. The luxury brand's creative director Alessandro Michele hired the actor/singer to star in its ad campaign to be shot in Venice, Italy.
Details are scarce about this engagement but Leto is expected to reveal more when he takes over Gucci's Snapchat in the next few days. The "Dallas Buyers Club" star had it announced on Instagram along with an artsy post of himself. "Taking over @gucci Snapchat for next three days come say hi xoxoxo #GuiltyNotGuilty," he wrote.
Leto is taking over the duty as Gucci fragrance ambassador from Chris Evans. The "Captain America: Civil War" star previously starred alongside Evan Rachel Wood in Guilty Black ad directed by Frank Miller.
This would be the second fragrance that Leto is promoting. The star of upcoming "Suicide Squad" was the face of Hugo Boss' Red perfume back in 2013.
