AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" pro-dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy just heard the most awesome "yes" in his life. Fellow dancer and girlfriend Peta Murgatroyd accepted his marriage proposal on Saturday, December 5 during the third night of "SWAY: A Dance Trilogy" in Miami.
"I'm in love with you, and I want to be in love with you for the rest of my life," Chmerkovskiy told Murgatroyd before he got down on one knee onstage. She got emotional and hugged him. Chmerkovskiy later posted a photo of the moment on Instagram with the caption, "She said 'yes'." She later shared her own happy news, writing "I said yes!!!!!! You have my heart forever my love. Love always wins @maksimc."
Congratulations have been pouring in for the couple including one from Chmerkovskiy's brother Val Chmerkovskiy. "I love the two of you will all my heart. You have my brothers loyalty, heart. His one and only for the rest of his life," Val wrote on social media. "You're family now and that makes you my sister, the second most important woman in my life. What's mine is yours. Forever and always."
The happy couple, who had been dating on and off since 2012, later emerged to debut the ring.
