The actor talks about fans' reactions to Glenn's fate being up in the air and reveals how it's like for him to keep the secret.

AceShowbiz - Not only fans, but also Steven Yeun is glad that the cat is finally out of the bag. "The Walking Dead" addressed Glenn's fate in the latest episode which aired on November 22 after letting people speculate over whether or not he survived after he was knocked off the dumpster by Nicholas' body into a horde of walkers in the third episode.

Appearing on "Talking Dead", Yeun said, "I feel relieved. I feel very grateful. I feel so amazed at the response." He admitted that it's hard for him to keep his lips sealed. "I feel bad that I couldn't say anything to everyone and family and friends. I'm pretty sure I've lost friendships along the way. But yeah, it's kind of been overwhelming. I didn't even really know how to take it all," he added.

Of how his life was like since the cliffhanger, Yeun shared, "I have not been out much. I frequent a lot of take-out. My apartment looks like a hoarder's house."

The actor, who is one of the original cast members on the hit series, also weighed in on Glenn's survival. "I think it proves that this world still can take that story of the good guy winning sometimes," he said. "I really like the fact that it's not this bent of always seeking out something miserable happening on television or something terrible and sulking on that and rather just really accepting the fact that sometimes good guys survive."

Showrunner Scott M. Gimple, meanwhile, explained why fans had to wait so long to find out Glenn's fate. "The story we were telling was one of uncertainty," he said. "When people leave the walls, in this case Alexandria, they don't have cell phones. They aren't rocking '80s beepers. You don't know what happens. You have no idea. When they leave, that could be the last time you ever see them. It was important to do a story this year about uncertainty and that the audience would share that uncertainty that the characters had, like in episode five: Maggie (Lauren Cohan) didn't know what happened to Glenn and I wanted the audience to be exactly where she was and to feel the exact same way."

Yeun was humbled by fans' reactions to Glenn's fate being up in the air. "You realize in that moment that you have affected a lot of people at once and that's something that you don't really see that often anymore. And especially with what's going on in the world now it's nice to have some connection," he said.

Yeun previously had delivered a message during a commercial break during a new episode of "Into the Badlands". He said, "I've been following everything you've been saying and it's meant so much to me to see all of your support and concern for Glenn. 'The Walking Dead' has the best fans in the world and I'm happy to be back."
