Michael and Nicole announce on Instagram that she is pregnant with a baby boy.

AceShowbiz - Michael Phelps and his fiancee Nicole Johnson are expecting their first child, a baby boy, together. The 30-year-old Olympian announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, November 18.

Michael posted a photo of him and Nicole posing together in front of a swimming pool. He cradled her tiny bump while she wore a tee and held a small panties with "MP" written on them. "We found out 8weeks ago we were expecting," he wrote alongside the snap, "Today we're over 12 weeks and it looks like we're having a boy!!! #babymp #mp #lifeabouttochange #mpswim [photo] @djnolan5."

Nicole shared the same picture along with caption, "Today marks 12 weeks and 5 days of us having a little one and yesterday we learned we're having a BOY. We couldn't be happier!! #babymp #mpswim [photo]: @djnolan5."

Michael and Nicole were engaged back in February. At that time, the couple shared some photos of Nicole showing off her new ring. "She said yes," Michael wrote, while his soon-to-be-wife gushed, "I'm gonna be a Mrs. @m_phelps00."

Michael started dating the former Miss California in 2007 before splitting up in late 2011. They rekindled their romance in 2014.
